When I first started online dating, I started on OKCupid. I liked that there was so much information and detailed ways to search.

I wanted as much info as I could get my hands on.

Before the founder of OKCupid sold to Match.com, he used to do tons of reports and share the information.

I gobbled those reports up!

One of them advised to FLY YOUR FREAK FLAGS HIGH!

If you had quirks, special interests, tattoos - whatever made you different or stand out - flaunt that sh*t!

It let YOUR people find YOU.

I took the freak flag flying advice and chose to note on my profile that I was not religious and that I didn’t want kids. You could check searchable boxes on each of those categories.

One of my loveliest wise beautiful smart girlfriends, when hearing my flag plans, told me -

PEOPLE WILL THINK YOU’RE MEAN!!!!!! 😱

I was so surprised by her response.

AND I DID IT ANYWAYS! 😙

And I found my man - he’s not religious and he already had three grown kids and didn’t want anymore.

MUAH! PERFECTO!

You are the only you out there - YOUR PERSON WANTS YOU!

Your product is YOU! With all your quirks and special features!

You are inviting your person to THE PARTY WHICH IS YOU!
