What Are You Weighting For?

What are you “weighting” for?

One of my besties took this picture of me, holding my phone with a picture of me taken the week before.

We were playing cards at our cabin and I kept flashing her the cute pic I loved from my photo shoot for my coaching website.

I mean GODDAM I look good! If I could carry a tune, I’d run out and get myself a country album deal and this would be the cover! ๐Ÿค

The week before my photo shoot I was crying to my coach about being sad and frustrated with myself because I had gained the “Covid 19”.

Nothing fit and I wasn’t going to get any pics I liked. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

I had promised myself to take one little bit of action each day to get my dream coaching practice up and running. I had booked photos to be taken for my website a few weeks before, and now it was time.

But now I wanted to cancel and wait until I lost the weight.

But I didn’t let myself.

I told myself I could retake them later, and chose to move forward on my dream even though I felt super uncomfortable about it.

A big part of achieving any goal is getting better at being uncomfortable. And here I was, having to swallow my own advice.

My mind still offers me up crappy thoughts daily. It’s not always easy not to listen to or believe them. It’s a choice & a practice.

Our lovableness and value does not have a reverse correlation to the number on the scale. โš–๏ธ

Love yourself like you want your partner to love and adore you - just the way you are.

Please don’t weight to date.

Please don’t put off your dream of finding your partner because of a number on a scale.
